SOLUTIONS
We think that this problem can be solved at the local level by getting every ethnic group more involved in local meetings where they can share how they feel about certain topics and what each group believes will bring people together. Students from Augsburg College in Minneapolis are working hard to make this happen.
We think that this problem can be solved at the national level by trying to create a more diverse government system so that every ethnic group has a government representative. In 2011, the government made a plan to include all ethnicities and to not discriminate against anyone.
We think that this problem can be solved at a global level by trying to learn more about other ethnic groups so that wrong assumptions are not made. Global Action Against Mass Atrocity Crimes is one example of this. They bring people together of all ethnicies to discuss how they can prevent genocide.
To take action against this problem we can try to become more open to the ideas of other groups, even if we disagree on some things.
